Abstract

Feline activities 2008
The FVF was initiated by the Feline Advisory Bureau (FAB) in 2007 with the aim of creating a collaboration between FAB, ESFM and the other veterinary feline study groups in Europe. It is hoped that eventually it will incorporate groups from all over the world. The main objectives of the FVF are to help improve the welfare of pet cats, increase the profile and membership of the various member groups and to pool and share information on feline health and welfare.
There are now 8 members of the Feline Veterinary Federation (FVF) made up of the veterinary cat groups from Belgium (SAVAB & Catvets), the Netherlands (NVK), France (SFF), Spain (GEMFE), Italy (AIVPAfe & SIMEF) and Sweden (JAMAREN).
