Corrections to Published ABM Clinical Protocol #10

In “ABM Clinical Protocol #10: Breastfeeding the Late Preterm Infant (34^0/7 to 36^6/7 Weeks Gestation) (First Revision June 2011)” (Breastfeed Med 2011;6:151–156), on p. 155, column 1, the last sentence in 3b should read “Screening for iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia at 6 months with hemoglobin, serum ferritin, and mean corpuscular volume (MCV) and/or transferrin saturation is recommended.⁵³ (I)” In the Appendix, Step 1 should read “Have a written breastfeeding policy communicated to all healthcare staff.” We also apologize for inadvertently omitting a member of the Protocol Committee: Tomoko Seo, M.D., FABM.
