Abstract
The authors would like to make a correction to a recently published article in Breastfeeding Medicine: Zhou Y, Chen J, Li Q, Huang W, Lan H, Jiang H. Association between breastfeeding and breast cancer risk: Evidence from a meta-analysis. Breastfeed Med 2015;10(3);175–182.
In the Results section of the Abstract of this paper, the following sentence had the possibility of being misinterpreted by native English speakers:
“Pooled results suggested that breastfeeding was significantly associated with the risk of breast cancer.”
As such, for English editorial clarity purpose, the sentence has been amended to read as follows:
“Pooled results suggested that breastfeeding was inversely associated with the risk of breast cancer.”
