Abstract

In the September 2017 issue of Breastfeeding Medicine (vol. 12, no. 7, pages 390–395), in the article entitled ABM Clinical Protocol #8: Human Milk Storage Information for Home Use for Full-Term Infants, Revised 2017, by Eglash et al., an incorrect freezer temperature in the milk storage guideline was published in the text and in Table 1.

On page 391, under Storage of Human Milk, No. 4, the incorrect freezer temperature, (−4°C to−20°C = 24.8°F to −4°F), should have been published as (0° F, −18°C).

Similarly, on page 392, Table 1, Milk Storage Guidelines, the incorrect freezer temperature – <−4°C (24.8°F) – should have appeared as 0°F (−18°C). The corrected table is printed herewith in its entirety.
