Correction to: Bacterial Growth in Expressed Mother's Milk Stored and Transported Under Different Simulated Conditions in a Tropical Country,by Rodrigo et al. Breastfeed Med 2021;16(4):300–308. DOI: 10.1089/bfm.2020.0334

In the April 2021 issue of Breastfeeding Medicine (vol. 16, no. 4; 300–308), the article titled Bacterial Growth in Expressed Mother's Milk Stored and Transported Under Different Simulated Conditions in a Tropical Country, by Rodrigo et al. requires correction.

In the original article, the first sentence of the Conclusions in the Abstract appeared as:

‘‘Transportation of expressed mother's milk for 4 hours in a tropical climate using a low-cost cool bag, with refrigeration at other times, maintained acceptable bacterial counts for up to 72 hours after expression.’’

It should have appeared as:

‘‘Transportation of expressed mother's milk for 6 hours in a tropical climate using a low-cost cool bag, with refrigeration at other times, maintained acceptable bacterial counts for up to 72 hours after expression.’’

The online version has been corrected to reflect this. The authors apologize for this error.
