Abstract
Cavernous hemangiomas of the upper aerodigestive tract are rare conditions that present a formidable challenge to the surgeon. We present two patients with large cavernous hemangiomas arising from the larynx that were removed endoscopically using the CO2 laser. The techniques used in these cases to minimize blood loss and safeguard the airway while achieving total removal are illustrated and discussed.
