A Cause for Celebration…

The Journal of Endourology has experienced unprecedented recognition over the past 2 years, thanks to the quality of manuscripts being submitted and the due diligence of our reviewers in recommending only outstanding manuscripts for publication. The latest impact factor for all medical journals has recently been published; over the last 2 years the impact factor for the Journal of Endourology has exceeded 2.0 for the first time. Of note, the Journal of Endourology has had a more rapid rise in its impact factor over this time span than Journal of Urology, Urology, and British Journal of Urology.

Similarly, citations of the Journal of Endourology manuscripts have increased by 20% over the past 2 years, again a far greater rise than in the aforementioned other journals. Full-text downloads have increased 38% since last year, and now average 12,500 per month. Meanwhile, submissions to the Journal of Endourology have risen by 20%, placing an even greater burden on our reviewers.
