On page 134, line 5 of the left-hand column, there should be the word “or” between the words “marginalized” and “offspring.” The sentence should read, “Buraku are historically marginalized or offspring of Japanese-Korean parents, people with experiences like those of US Blacks.
On page 135, line 24 of the right-hand column, the word “buraku” should be changed to “workers.” The sentence should read, “Under normal conditions, 90 percent of all 83,000 Japanese nuclear workers are temporary-contract workers who receive about 16 times more radiation than the already-50-times-higher-than-public doses received by normal radiation workers.
The author regrets the errors.
