Cervical Endometriosis Following Large Loop Excision of the Transformation Zone

ABSTRACT

Endometriosis of the uterine cervix is an uncommon entity. Endometriosis has rarely been reported after cold-knife conization of the cervix, and has been associated with other scars, such as abdominal incisions and episiotomy. Despite the growing use of the loop excision of the transformation zone, the occurrence of cervical endometriosis has not been reported.
