Abstract
Background:
Mixed urinary incontinence disorder is not uncommon in the elderly female population and can sometimes be complicated by urinary retention, which makes it a treatment challenge. Medical or surgical treatment of patients with mixed incontinence disorder frequently worsens the associated voiding dysfunction.
Case:
In this article we report an illustrative case where staged multimodal treatment of mixed incontinence and voiding dysfunction in a patient with a grade II cystocele yielded a satisfactory outcome. (J GYNECOL SURG 25:121)
