Abstract

Antigen Used for Immunization
Recombinant rat P60-katanin produced in Escherichia coli.
Method of Immunization
BALB/c mice were immunized twice with 50 μg of RecP60 per mouse. The first immunization was applied intraperitoneally in FCA, the second in FIA. One week before fusion, a final boost was done with 25 μg of RecP60 per mouse in PBS, both intraperitoneally and to four foot pads.
Parental Cell Line Used for Fusion
FO.
Selection and Cloning Procedure
Hybridoma cells were cultured in HAT selection medium. Positive clones were selected by ELISA against recombinant antigen.
Heavy and Light Chains of Immunoglobulin
IgG (subclass not typed).
Specificity
The specificity against human and mouse P60-katanin was determined by immunocytochemistry, and rat P60-katanin was determined by Western blot analysis.
Specific Antigen Identified
P60-katanin.
