In the October 2016 issue of Industrial Biotechnology (volume 12, number 5, pp295–302), the name of one of the coauthors of the article entitled “The Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) Process for Industrial Microbial Enzymes” by Dr. Vincent Sewalt et al., was spelled incorrectly.
“Robert Carillo” should have been listed as “Robert Carrillo.”
The online version of the article has been corrected to reflect this change. Regrettably, Dr. Carrillo's name was also misspelled in the same issue's editorial.1 It, too, has been corrected to reflect the proper spelling.
The authors wish to apologize for the error.
