Abstract
In the May 2023 issue of Journal of Interferon & Cytokine Research (vol. 43, no. 5; pp. 206–215) the article entitled “A Specific Pattern and Dynamics of Circulating Cytokines Are Associated with the Extension of Lung Injury and Mortality in Colombian Adults with Coronavirus Disease-19” by Sara Bolívar-Marı´n, et al. requires correction.
The authors identified an error in a unit of measure.
Plasma concentrations of the activated TGF-β1 should be read as ng/mL and not as μg/mL through the article.
On page 207, second column under the Evaluation of plasma cytokines subheading, the sentence reading:
Detection limits to TNF-α, TGF-β1, and sTNFRI were 2.2 pg/mL, 0.1 μg/mL, and 1.2 pg/mL.
has been corrected to read:
Detection limits to TNF-α, TGF-β1, and sTNFRI were 2.2 pg/mL, 0.1 ng/mL, and 1.2 pg/mL.
Figures 2, 3, 4, and Supplementary Figure 2 have also been corrected.
