Abstract
In the March 2020 issue of Journal of Medicinal Food (vol. 23, no. 3; 312–318), the article entitled “Physalis alkekengi Exhibits Anti-Obesity Effects in Mice with Potential of Inducing White Adipose Tissue Browning” by Lee et al. requires correction.
The image of “high-fat diet (HFD)” in Figure 3C and “Orlistat” in Figure 3D were duplicated with another study that was published a year after this publication. In the quantification of the adipose tissue, the quantification was not affected as our mistake was in the figure arrangements. However, the authors have also again analyzed and it was consistent with the previously published data. Hence, no changes were made in the quantification of adipocyte number in Figure 3C. This erratum is submitted with the accurate version of the figure, as shown below. The images in red boxes in the corrected figure indicate which figures have been replaced.
