The authors responded but were unable to provide the uncropped raw images underlying the figures in the articles. The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Journal’s Editorial Board reviewed the author’s response and determined that the concerns remain unresolved.
Due to the unresolved concerns about image integrity that call into question the validity of the findings the Journal of Medicinal Food Editor-in-Chief retracts the articles.
Authors agreed with the retraction of one article 1 and did not agree with the retraction of the other. 2
