Principles of Analgesic Use in the Treatment of Acute Pain and Cancer Pain, from the American Pain Society, is a comprehensive pocket guide to treating acute and cancer pain. Supportive Care in Heart Failure, edited by James Beattie and Sarah Goodlin, provides an in-depth review of end-of-life care for patients with heart failure.
