Abstract
Patient yet longing
My vagrant soul left this shirt of existence
And rose to its journey westward.
Roads to beloved were burdened with sins and dangers-
Frightening deserts, turbulent sands,
Weary clouds, Erupting mountains
And only camel milk to drink.
I make it through the storms changed and scarred-
All remains intact but my fear and my doubts
Clear skies, Unveiled luminous world,
Circling galaxies, watchful stars.
Peace, knowledge,
Truth attained through grief
My sins exonerated
by the wind-
shaped as Mary holding a child
Without pride, I arrive at the gate-
There is no key to His door.
It opens to the house of love-
Witnessing the magnificent
sight of the invisible.
I kneel in silence,
My head on a rock-
At last, there is home
