Abstract

I chose to make my personal reflection project some type of puzzle because I thought it would be fun to get the audience involved throughout my reflections presentation at the end of the rotation (Fig. 1). I made my crossword thinking of topics and medications I learned about or more about throughout my month with palliative care pharmacist, Natalie Malone. It was basically a reflection of how my whole month went between inpatient palliative care at Riverside Methodist Hospital and acute care inpatient hospice at Kobacker House. On the day of the presentation, it was fun to watch everyone in the room attempt the puzzle, whether they were students, pharmacists, doctors, managers, or chaplains! I truly enjoyed my month and I learned lessons that I will carry with me forever.
Thank you for the opportunity.
