In the September 2022 issue of Journal of Women's Health (vol. 31, no. 9; 1222–1231) the article entitled “Addressing Racial Disparities in Pregnancy-Related Deaths: An Analysis of Maternal Mortality-Related Federal Legislation, 2017–2021,” by Denise C. Carty et al. requires correction to a figure legend that was mistakenly not corrected with updated information.

On page 1223, the legend for Figure 1 read:
