National Walk for Lymphedema and Lymphatic Diseases

This year's National Walk for Lymphedema and Lymphatic Diseases was held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Long Island, NY and marked our fourth successful walkathon event. The Walk brought together hundreds of patients, family members, friends, healthcare professionals, therapists, lymphedema product suppliers, as well as community leaders for a day of family fun and the opportunity to raise much needed funding and awareness for these conditions. LRF Funding

The Lymphatic Research Foundation continues its support of the Gordon Research Conference (Molecular Mechanisms in Lymphatic Function and Disease scheduled for March 2014), as well as new research fellowships during the 2014–2016 funding cycle. We are also hosting a bimonthly live-streamed symposium series, expanding social media communications, and growing our online education resources.

As partners in a shared effort, we look to the research community to visit our website, submit research and industry news, and to join the dialogue that brings lymphatic disease and lymphedema to national attention.
