Abstract

Antigen Used for Immunization
Somatic antigens of parasite were prepared from second-stage larvae by homogenization and sonication.
Method of Immunization
The mice were immunized once with Freund's complete adjuvant and three times with Freund's incomplete adjuvant for BALB/C mice. When the titer of antibodies in mouse blood sera was up to 10−6, the mice were boosted with 50 mg antigen without adjuvant.(1)
Parental Cell Line Used for Fusion
P3-X63-Ag8-U1 hybridoma cell line.
Selection and Cloning Procedure
The clones were selected using a microtiter plate coated with antigens of Toxocara cati and were the product of hybridoma cells that bind with high affinity to the excretory-secretory Toxocara cati second-stage larvae antigen.
Heavy and Light Chains of Immunoglobulin
IgG3.
Specificity
All MAbs specifically reacted with antigens of Toxocara cati larvae.
Specific Antigen Identified
Second larvae of Toxocara cati and for detection of circulating antigen.
