Correction to: Multi-Omics and Artificial Intelligence-Guided Drug Repositioning: Prospects,Challenges,and Lessons Learned from COVID-19,by Cong and Endo. OMICS 2022;26(7):361–371;doi: 10.1089/omi.2022.0068

In the review article entitled, “Multi-Omics and Artificial Intelligence-Guided Drug Repositioning: Prospects, Challenges, and Lessons Learned from COVID-19” (OMICS: A Journal of Integrative Biology: 2022;26(7):361–371) by Y. Cong and T. Endo, the authors correct the following sentence which appears on page 363:

“As a result, disease-specific gene expression and 20 drugs for repurposing were identified.”

The corrected sentence reads:

“As a result, disease-specific gene expression and 22 drugs for repurposing were identified.”

This correction is in light of the authors' updated analysis in their research article (Cong et al., 2022) that is cited in the article. It does not change the scope, approach, or conclusions of the review article by Cong and Endo (2022).
