Abstract

This year Elsevier released the 10th edition of Kendig and Wilmott's Disorders of the Respiratory Tract in Children. It continues a longstanding tradition of excellence as a resource in pediatric pulmonary medicine. The 10th edition brings together experts from around the world to update important developments in areas ranging from the Scientific Basis of Pediatric Pulmonology to Emerging Threats to Children's Lung Health. Eleven new chapters have been added to focus on hot topics including big data and OMICS in respiratory medicine, as well as tobacco and marijuana use in children and adolescents. Each chapter is presented with concise and well-organized formatting to make this edition a user-friendly resource for clinicians in pediatric respiratory and related specialties, as well as a study guide for those preparing for certification examinations. The eBook version is available at no additional charge, allowing readers the flexibility to browse, customize, and highlight content on their electronic devices.
