Abstract

In the October 2016 issue of Tissue Engineering: Part A (vol. 22, no. 19–20; 1191–1203) the article entitled “Hypoxic Preconditioning Enhances Dental Pulp Stem Cell Therapy for Infection-Caused Bone Destruction” by Wu et al. requires correction.
The originally published Figure 1D showed the immunofluorescence staining of osteoblastic relative proteins (BMP2, OCN, Runx2). The authors found the magnification of some pictures was inconsistent. Although this mistake did not affect the results of the experiments, it may have a negative impact on readers' understanding of data as originally published. The authors rearranged the pictures and made a correction to Figure 1D:
The originally published Figure 2C showed the FACS analysis of CXCR4 expression on the surface of hDPSCs. The two graphs in Figure 2C were curves erroneously duplicated from Supplementary Figure S1F. After checking the raw data, the authors found that the experimenters made this mistake by misplacing the original graphs, but this mistake did not affect the results. The authors reorganized the graphs and made a correction to Figure 2C:
The online version of this article has been corrected to reflect this. The authors apologize for these errors.
