Abstract
In the February 2018 issue of Tissue Engineering, Part A (vol. 24, no. 3-4; 207-218) the article entitled “NELL-1, HMGB1, and CCN2 Enhance Migration and Vasculogenesis, But Not Osteogenic Differentiation Compared to BMP2” by Fahmy-Garcia et al. requires correction.
The authors discovered that the incorrect image was used as a representative picture of the BMP2 group condition (10 ng/ml) in Figure 3A. This image is from another experimental group but was mistakenly used as representative picture of MSC mineralization under BMP2 treatment. The authors have revised Figure 3A as below:
As the images are representative, and were not used for the quantification of the mineral deposition, this error does not change the results shown in Figure 3 nor the overall message of the article in any way.
The online version of the article has been corrected to reflect this. The authors apologize for this error.
