Abstract

The authors of the published article entitled “Xenogeneic Decellularized Scaffold: A Novel Platform for Ovary Regeneration” (Tissue Eng Part C Methods. 23(2)61–71; doi: 10.1089/ten.tec.2016.0410) have identified an error that requires correction.
In the initially published version of the article, an incorrect image was utilized to depict the presence of cells in the native ovary in Figure 4A. It is important to note that only the image was wrong; the descriptions in the published article and its accompanying figure caption were accurate throughout the article. Moreover, the conclusions drawn in the article remain unaffected.
The online version of the article has been updated. The corrected image with its corresponding legend in its entirety appears below.
The authors apologize for the oversight and regret any inconvenience to the readership.

Microarchitecture of decellularized scaffold presented by scanning electron microscopy images. “a”: Ovarian cells in native scaffold; “b” and “c”: follicular cavity was observed both in native and decellularized scaffold; “d”: pore walls of D-ovary became porous because of the lack of intact cells.
