Corrections are necessary in two articles in the September 2009 issue of Thyroid. The name of Edwin B. Astwood was incorrectly given as Edward Astwood in “Why the History of Thyroid Disease Is Important” (1) and “In Memoriam: Dr. John Maxwell McKenzie (1928–2009)” (2).
