I n the November 2012 issue of Thyroid (vol. 22, no. 11; 1191–1192), the article “Prevalence of Thyroglossal Duct Cyst Carcinoma in Adults Having Surgery for Thyroglossal Duct Cysts” by Sturniolo et al. (1) requires revision.

On page 1191, in the fourth paragraph in the right column, the sentence beginning “None of the patients with TGDcyst-Ca in our series …” should read, “None of the patients with TGDcyst-Ca in our series had follicular thyroid carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, Hürthle cell carcinoma, or anaplastic carcinoma.”

The authors sincerely regret this error.
