The Workshop provides a forum for presentation of work-in-progress and extended vigorous discussion to stimulate further advances in the understanding and treatment of syndromes or reduced sensitivity to thyroid hormone.
Topics will include: Genomic and non-genomic TH action. Basic understanding of TH receptors α and β, MCT8, SBP2, their defects in humans and in animal models as well as treatment options.
The workshop will take place immediately before the 86th Annual Meeting of the American Thyroid Association in Denver, Colorado beginning on 9/21/16–9/25/16.
