Correction to: A Comprehensive Review of Thyroid Hormone Metabolism in the Gut and Its Clinical Implications by Fenneman et al. Thyroid 2023;33(1):32–44;doi: 10.1089/thy.2022.0491

In the January 2023 issue of Thyroid (vol. 33, no. 1; pp. 32–44) the article entitled “A Comprehensive Review of Thyroid Hormone Metabolism in the Gut and Its Clinical Implications” by Fenneman et al. (doi: 10.1089/thy.2022.0491) requires correction.

The reference numbers cited in Tables 1 and 2 did not match the numbers given in the reference list. This was corrected in the “Authors” column of both tables, in the last row of the “Hashimoto's thyroiditis” column of Table 1, and in the last row of the “GD” column of Table 2.

Additionally, a new reference (Shi et al.⁹³) has been added to the article and cited in the fourth row of Table 2.
