On behalf of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) we're excited to congratulate the Journal of Telemedicine and e-Health for reaching the 20-year milestone as a premier publication of our industry. ATA has been a proud supporter of the Journal since its inception.
Over the past two decades, telemedicine has emerged from being an “interesting concept” to become one of the hottest “new” ideas transforming the delivery of healthcare around the world. Throughout this time, the Journal has served as a critical resource, covering advances in healthcare technology for hospitals, practitioners, the business community, patients, and consumers. Today, barriers to care are falling away, and adoption of telemedicine is rapidly changing the way healthcare is delivered.
