In the April 2021 issue of Viral Immunology (vol. 34, no. 3; pp.165–173), the article entitled “The Role of the SARS-CoV-2 S-Protein Glycosylation in the Interaction of SARS-CoV-2/ACE2 and Immunological Responses” by Ramírez Hernández et al. requires correction.

On page 166, last line of the left column, the article incorrectly referred to ORF8a/8b in SARS-CoV-2, however, the new SARS-CoV-2 has an intact ORF8, rather than an 8a/8b split.
