Abstract
JAPA benefits greatly from the careful and dedicated work of its Associate Editors, who write many of the decision letters to authors and shepherd papers through the review process. This past year Anne Erreich, Jane Kite, Katie Lewis, Lynne Zeavin, Stephen Portuges, and Donnel Stern continued their outstanding work as Associate Editors. Nathan Kravis stepped down after nearly a decade of exemplary work in that role. Greg Rizzolo and Sarah Ackerman joined the Associate Editor team in 2020. Peter Rudnytsky has been Acting Associate Editor on papers as well. Anne Adelman and Jennifer Stuart are co-editors of the JAPA Review of Books, and Rachel Boué Widawsky is Associate Book Review Editor for Foreign Books. We thank all of them for their efforts on behalf of JAPA.
We say goodbye to the following Editorial Board members who made significant contributions to the journal during the past three years and who rotated off the Board on December 31, 2020: Daria Columbo, Henry J. Friedman, Axel Hoffer, Kay Long, Kerry Kelly Novick, Eslee Samberg, Michael E. Shulman, and Alan Sugarman. The following colleagues have been appointed to the JAPA Editorial Board for the term January 1, 2021, through December 31, 2023: Philip Blumberg, William Gottdiener, Francisco González, Leslie Keith (former Editorial Associate), Alfred Margulies, Seth Pittman, Peter Rudnytsky, Michelle Stephens, Beverly Stoute, and Lyn Yonack. Lara Sheehi and Matthew Steinfeld continue as Editorial Associates for another year. They are joined by Alistair McKnight, Luis Ripoll, and Hannah Zeavin.
