An Alternate Way of Obtaining Gomez-Deniz form of Generalized Geometric Distribution

In this paper we propose another approach to obtain a generalized geometric distribution. Starting with a Poisson distribution and assuming that the parameter (λ) of the Poisson distribution follows geometrically (declining) weighted exponential distribution, we obtain a generalized geometric distribution.
