Abstract

This third edition of Keith Elliott’s Bibliography of Greek New Testament Manuscripts maintains the currency of this important reference work. A new feature is that the printed edition is linked to the online bibliographical resources of the Faculty of Theology at the University of Lausanne. The New Testament manuscripts are classified in the conventional categories of papyri, majuscules (uncials), minuscule (cursives), and lectionaries. The bibliography covers published items dealing with manuscripts in each category up to the following numbers: P128, 0323, 2927, l2463. Various different types of publications are contained in the bibliography, including monographs, articles, studies, and collations of manuscripts. This new edition unifies the combined entries of the two earlier editions, with titles appearing in descending order of date of publication (the most recent publications coming first). Each section commences by first listing important bibliographic items for the four categories of manuscripts.
This volume facilitates research into New Testament manuscripts. It will be used widely by specialists in the field, and continues to be a significant and highly useful reference tool.
