Abstract

Every two years, the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) awards the Senior Researcher Award to recognize a researcher for outstanding, significant, and long-standing contributions to music education research. This award is a premier acknowledgement of excellence in research and scholarly contributions to the field.
To nominate an outstanding researcher, please provide the following in one PDF document: (1) the name, address, phone number, email, and affiliation of the nominee; (2) a formal nomination letter (including a statement that the researcher accepted the nomination); (3) the nominee’s curriculum vitae; and (4) three letters of recommendation from persons in a position to comment on the nominee’s research and scholarly contributions and achievements.

The 2022 NAfME Senior Researcher Awardee will be honored at the NAfME National Conference in National Harbor, Maryland, November 2-6 2022, where they will give an address that will subsequently be published in the Journal of Research in Music Education.
