Abstract

Association News……
FELASA and HSBLAS, the Hellenic Society of Biomedical and Laboratory Animal Science, are organising the 16th FELASA Congress from 2 to 5 June 2025, in Athens, Greece. See https://www.felasa2025.eu/ for details.
The topic of the Congress is Reducing Severity in Animal Research. The concept of severity refers to the European requirement to classify and report the use of animals for scientific purposes. Ethically, severity must be reduced thanks to the implementation of refinements. For more details on how the programme is divided into streams, see https://www.felasa2025.eu/programme/congress-topics/ and see https://www.felasa2025.eu/programme/ for the draft programme.
The early bird deadline to register at a lower cost is 25 February 2025; see https://www.felasa2025.eu/attendance/registration/. You might also want to consider registering for the IACLAM day, the first World Meeting for Laboratory Animal Veterinarians; see https://www.felasa2025.eu/programme/iaclam-day/.
As usual, the FELASA 2025 Congress is the triennial opportunity to refine your knowledge, to share your experience in all fields of laboratory animal sciences, and to visit the largest commercial exhibition in Europe for laboratory animal care and research equipment.
See you in Athens!
