Abstract
Sociology of Education has been well served again this year by a community of engaged and conscientious reviewers. Peer reviewing is a critical part of the work we do as sociologists, and exemplary reviewing is too rarely acknowledged and honored. Again this year I want to recognize the work of the reviewers of this journal with the Sociology of Education “Revise and Resubmit” Award. The recipients of this award have consistently displayed the highest standards of expertise, insight, and collegiality in the reviews that they have prepared for Sociology of Education. The awardees for 2013 are Carlo Barone, Jessica Calarco, Bill Carbonaro, Tom DiPrete, and Keith Robinson.
