Abstract
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Ipsa Suyal on January 28th, 2022. Ipsa provided essential administrative support for Tropical Doctor as a Peer Review Associate. Besides checking in manuscripts for review and processing accepted papers for production, Ipsa monitored the progress of manuscripts through peer review closely; her timely follow-ups with reviewers, authors, and the editorial team helped keep manuscripts moving. Ipsa was always there for our authors, reviewers, and editorial team whenever assistance was required. Though she only started working on the journal in November 2020, she has been an extremely dependable and invaluable member of our support team. We will miss her calm and reassuring presence.
