Training Medical Writers in Today's Environment 3: How to Please a Medical Writer

Practical problems of interdepartmental communication involving medical writers are addressed. This contribution will summarize “how to please a medical writer” if you are a project manager, a clinical research associate, a data manager, a statistician/biometrician, or indeed anyone who has to deal with documents or material for—or from—a medical writer. The contribution also aims to show medical writers possible ways to educate their colleagues from other departments toward smoother cooperation and to strengthen communication, and mutual insight, with these departments.
