Abstract

Olaghere, A., Wilson, D. B., & Kimbrell, C. S. (2021). Trauma-informed interventions for at-risk and justice-involved youth: A meta-analysis. Criminal Justice and Behavior, 48(9), 1261–1277. https://doi.org/10.1177/00938548211003117
On pages 1268, 1269, and Table 4, the total number of studies included in meta-analysis was incorrectly reported as 19, instead of 18. The corrected sentences and table are provided below:
Page 1268: Externalizing type problem behaviors was the most commonly reported outcome. These were reported in 18 studies and we coded 35 effect sizes.
Page 1269: A majority of studies used random assignment designs (16 of 18) and the randomized designs had a smaller mean effect size than the quasi-experimental designs (g = 0.22 vs. g = 1.43, respectively, QBetween = 17.903, df = 1, p < .001).
At-Risk Youth Studies: Mean Effect Size and Related Statistics by Outcome
Note. All models estimated as random effects models using the method-of-moments estimate for τ2. Effects are coded such that positive values reflect positive effects, that is, less delinquency. CI = confidence interval; SE = standard error; TAU = treatment-as-usual.
QBetween = 0.819, df = 1, p = .036. bQBetween = 17.903, df = 1, p < .001. cQBetween = 3.213, df = 1, p = .007.
