Abstract
Batrachophthalmum hendel is a small genus of Richardiidae, with only two species: B. rufiventre, from Peru and B. quimbaya, from Colombia. The male of B. quimbaya has an extraordinary head, the width from one eye to another, can be almost three times the length of the body. The female of B. quimbaya was unknown. Herein, the female of B. quimbaya is described, which presents remarkable differences from the male, especially in the head. Description and illustration of the male and female terminalia of Batrachophthalmum are also provided.
