Abstract

Wipf and Stock’s publishing model and policy has led to a number of creative and useful reprints of books. This is a good case in point. Paul Anderson’s influential 1996 monograph on John’s Christology, with its implications for the composition of the Gospel, is reprinted verbatim from the Mohr Siebeck original. To this is added a new 89-page introduction, with material on composition, relating particularly to the author’s, The Fourth Gospel and the Quest for Jesus (T&T Clark, 2006), together with a 29-page epilogue responding to reviews of the first edition.
