Event-triggered adaptive control for buck-converter-driven DC motor systems with hybrid constraints: A switched integral barrier Lyapunov function approach
In this paper, the problem of event-triggered adaptive control for buck-converter-driven DC motor systems with hybrid constraints is investigated using a switched integral barrier Lyapunov function (SIBLF). First, due to the diversity of system constraints, the hybrid constraints with both the unilateral and bilateral constraints are considered in this paper. Considering the constraints of electronic device performance, the DC motor with buck-converter and constant power load can be modeled as nonlinear system with hybrid constraints. Then, an SIBLF is proposed to handle the hybrid constraints. Moreover, not only system states are limited, but communication resources are also limited in this paper. Considering limited communication resources, a novel event-triggered strategy (ETS) based on the derivative of tracking error is proposed. Compared with the traditional ETS, the proposed strategy can reduce the communication and control frequency by 14%. Benefiting from the proposed SIBLF and ETS, an event-triggered adaptive control strategy is designed to ensure the boundedness of the system under the hybrid constraints.
