Abstract
□ In summary, our study of the medical aspects of aging has led to the following recommendations: a complete history and physical examination on a periodic basis throughout the individual's life; a formal program of exercise, both physical and mental—not the usual bread and butter kind of mental exercises, but something that is new and different, that exercises the grey cells in the new parts of the brain; and sound nutrition and moderation in habits.
