Abstract

This statement of position regarding Essay Contests was prepared at the request of the Committee on National Con tests and Activities. It has been approved by the Committee as well as by the Executive Committee of the National Asso ciation of Secondary-School Principals. Therefore, it can be considered as representing the position of the NASSP toward Essay Contests.
