Abstract
Dear all,
I am currently writing this editorial from my home, wondering if in fact we are about to have a lock down as many other countries have.
I was going to write a small piece about COVID-19 and vision but decided that the best thing I can do is to say
As such I would like to say thank you to all of the doctors and nurses around the world, a thank you to all the hospital staff, the cleaners, the cooks, the volunteers, all health professionals, thank you.
I would like to say thank you to all the garbage workers for cleaning the streets.
I would like to say thank you for those shop workers, keeping the shops open so that there is food to buy.
A thank you to all the truck drivers and supply chain workers.
A thank you to everyone who is working hard to ensure that people remain healthy, looked after and that we all care for one another.
A thank you to all the carers, parents of children with disabilities.
All of your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
