Developing a service for multi-sensory impaired adults: recruitment,retention and training of staff

In the last issue of this journal, Diana Harries wrote about the many problems facing those professionals responsible for developing services for multi-handicapped people. The following article outlines the major issues which have arisen during the initial development phase of one particular type of provision for a section o f this client group.
