Issue 35:4—Research to Practice in Early Intervention (Open Topic)
This is an open, nontopical issue for manuscripts on any aspect of early intervention for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families. Authors are encouraged to submit reports of original research, literature reviews, conceptual statements, position papers, descriptions and evaluations of effective programs, and reactions to previous manuscripts published in TECSE. Articles may address topics that have been featured in previous issues of the journal or topics that have not been addressed. Acceptable manuscripts will be published on a space-available and first-come first-served basis; therefore, authors are encouraged to submit their work as early as possible. Due Date: April 30, 2015
Issue 36:1—Contributions of Single Case Research Methodology to Early Childhood Special Education
This issue will feature manuscripts that highlight the use of single case research (SCR) methodology in early childhood special education (ECSE). SCR has a long history of being used to evaluate behavioral interventions in ECSE; these designs may have particular relevance in identifying what works, for whom, and under what conditions. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts that review, describe, or demonstrate special contributions of single case research designs or measurement strategies. Papers that illustrate the use of SCR to identify evidence-based practices for use in natural settings or inclusive preschool classrooms are especially welcome. Due Date: July 31, 2015
