Abstract

The 40th Annual Macromarketing Conference will assemble scholars in Chicago to explore, discuss and debate marketing challenges and solutions to the world's most vexing conundrums, including sustainability, socioeconomic-dysfunction, poverty, war, disenfranchisement, injustice, and societal angst and unhappiness. Participants are invited to submit competitive papers, working papers, abstracts or proposals for special sessions. Of particular interest is research that explores the themes listed below, as they pertain to core Macromarketing foci: the interactions of markets, marketing and society, and the subsequent extent to which individual, societal and global well-being are enhanced or hindered. Other topics and themes of relevance to Macromarketing are also welcome.
